Featured vs Standard — choosing your tier

Coach Circle runs two tiers — Featured and Standard. They’re two different revenue lanes, not two ranks. Pick the one that fits how you already work.

The short version

• Featured Coaches are platform-promoted. Coach Circle drives traffic to your work. Your courses are inside the all-access subscription. You get a 70% share of the subscription pool by watch-time.
• Standard Coaches bring their own audience. You sell à la carte only — you keep 90% of every direct sale, set your own price, no platform floor or cap. Your courses are not in the all-access subscription, but they stay visible in the public catalog for discovery.

Featured — the platform-promoted lane

What you get

• Homepage placement and the moving coach carousel.
• Inclusion in the all-access subscription (every Coach Circle subscriber can watch your courses).
• 70% share of the monthly subscription pool, distributed by watch-time.
• Active promotion: email campaigns, ad traffic from Coach Circle, featured banners, editorial programming.
• “Coach Circle Featured” badge on your profile and courses.

The trade-off

You can’t set per-course à la carte prices on Featured — all your courses are subscription-only. We keep 30% of the pool share as the price of active platform promotion.

Best fit

Featured suits coaches who want Coach Circle to grow them, or who don’t have a strong existing audience to drive to a per-course sale.

Standard — the à la carte lane

What you get

• 90% of every à la carte sale. You set the price — there’s no platform floor or cap.
• Course hosting, video delivery, checkout, and payment processing all handled by Coach Circle.
• Coach profile page and inclusion in the public catalog for organic discovery.
• Full control over your pricing strategy and promotion.

The trade-off

Standard courses are not in the all-access subscription pool. Subscribers see your profile in the catalog but have to buy each course individually to watch. You also don’t get platform-driven promotion — you bring your own traffic from your audience, email list, or socials.

Best fit

Standard suits coaches with an existing following who already know how to sell, and who’d rather set their own price and keep more on every direct sale.

Same on both tiers

• Same course-upload flow, same video hosting, same payout cadence.
• Visibility in the public catalog so students can find you.

Switching tiers

Tiers are editable by admin from /admin/coaches. If you want to switch, email success@coachcircle.ph — we’ll talk it through so the move makes sense for both sides. Existing earnings stay credited under the tier they were earned in.
