This is the article that unlocks earnings. The course-upload flow walks you through four sections — course details, cover image, modules and lessons, and publish — and you can do all of it in one sitting if your video is ready.
Have your video ready first. The fastest path is to film and edit your lessons before you start uploading. Each lesson is its own video file. MP4, MOV, and WebM all work.
Where to start a new course
Sign in and go to My courses in the top nav, then click Upload new course. Or go directly to /me/courses/new.
Section 1 — Course details
This is the sales pitch for your course.
- Course title. The promise. What does the student get out of taking it?
- Subtitle. One short line of context beneath the title.
- URL slug. Auto-suggested from your title. The URL piece in coachcircle.ph/courses/your-slug. Keep it short and readable.
- Description. What the student will learn (bullet outcomes work well) and who it’s for. Use Markdown headings if you want structure.
Section 2 — Cover image
Landscape 16:9 image, this is what shows on every catalog card and on the course detail page. Aim for something that reads at thumbnail size — strong colour, clear focal point. JPG/PNG, recommended around 1920×1080.
Section 3 — Preview trailer (optional, recommended)
A 30 to 90 second video of you explaining the course is a massive conversion lift. Students who watch the trailer convert 2–3× higher than students who only see the cover. If you skip it for v1, that’s fine — you can add it later from the course edit page.
Section 4 — Modules and lessons
A course has one or more modules, and each module has one or more lessons. A lesson is a single video.
Use modules to group related lessons (“Foundations”, “Advanced”, “Case studies”). Use lessons for individual videos.
For each lesson
- Title. What students see in the lesson rail.
- Description (optional). One sentence on what this lesson covers.
- Video. Upload the file. We transcode and host it on our video CDN — no extra setup on your side.
- Free preview toggle. Marking one or two lessons as Free preview lets non-paying visitors watch them on the course page. Strong conversion tool.
Tip: mark your first lesson and one mid-course lesson as free preview. The first one hooks them, the mid-course one proves the curriculum keeps delivering value.
Pricing
How you price depends on your tier. The course-upload form is tier-aware — it shows you the right control based on what you’re allowed to set.
- Featured Coaches sell exclusively through the all-access subscription. You won’t see a price input at all — instead, you’ll see a gold notice explaining the subscription model. Coach Circle distributes 70% of the pool to Featured coaches by watch-time.
- Standard Coaches see an À la carte price (₱) input. Optional — leave blank for “subscription-only” behaviour, or set any whole-peso price. No platform floor, no cap. You keep 90% of every à la carte sale; platform takes 10%.

Editing later: the per-course edit form at /me/courses/[id]/edit behaves the same way. If you ever change tiers, the form changes shape automatically the next time you open it — no admin reload step needed.

Save as draft, or publish
Click Save draft to come back to it later. Click Publish course when you’re ready to go live.
Once published, your course appears on your public profile and in the catalog immediately. Students can buy it (or watch it via subscription, if you’re Featured) the same minute it goes live.
Editing later
Everything in the course is editable after publish. Change the title, swap the cover, add lessons, re-record videos. From your coach portal, go to My courses and click the course you want to edit.
